History

Three generations strong

Andrew Hauber opened the business after working at H. Trenkle Co. in Dubuque, IA.  Having learned the craft at Trenkle's and developing his own recipes, Andy set up shop at 125 N. Main St. in Dickeyville, WI, where the business is still located today. 

 

Mick and John Hauber, sons of Andy and Henrietta Hauber, were the second generation to run the business.  Robert "Bongo" Brand, grandson of Andy, then took over in July of 2014, changing the name to Hauber Brand Meats.

Stop in to see our fresh meat counter, cut daily, of beef roasts, pork roasts, steaks, homemade brats and sausage and more.  Some of our customer favorites are the regular or pepper jack beef sticks and summer sausage.
